Hilltop Seeks to Center Around a Broad Street’s Transit Project
A New Development Located in Columbus’ Hilltop Seeks to Center Around a Broad Street’s Transit Project.
Hilltop RISE is spearheading a transit-oriented redevelopment project on the Hilltop by renovating two century-old, mixed-use buildings located at 3085-3099 W. Broad St. Acquired for $1.2 million.
The + 6.86-acre site includes 10 apartment units and over 6,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The project focuses on preserving naturally occurring affordable housing and expanding a local business hub near a Broad Street Rapid Transit stop.
The project involves a comprehensive renovation of five vacant apartments and all storefronts to create move-in-ready commercial suites designed to progress corridor investment.
